Community' is the latest in a long line of new social bookmarking startups.

The relatively new online phenomenon, known as 'social bookmarking' has changed the
way we use the internet. Websites such as digg.com, del.icio.us and stumbleupon.com
afford members the ability to save, rate and share their favorite bookmarks.

However, http://Joose.us takes social technology a step further by specializing in a
specific area, enabling members a more user-friendly environment to search for
information on health and fitness related subject matter.

Joose's creator Steph White, (otherwise know as 'Joosey'), told us 'I actively
participate in many Social Networking and Bookmarking Sites and have done for about
eighteen months now, but I was always bothered by the enormous amount of information
that just wasn't relevant to what I was looking for. Health and Fitness is a huge
area to cover on it's own; there's medical conditions, diet, obesity and weight
loss, bodybuilding, training, exercise and even the health and fitness of our pets.'

'The aim of Joose.us is to bring together like-minded people who want to learn from
each other and share their knowledge too'. A global community working towards
common goals, whether that be learning, teaching, increasing awareness or driving
traffic to quality content on the internet'.

Joose.us further sets itself apart by offering a toolbar, which installs quickly and
easily in Firefox, Flock or Internet Explorer browsers, giving users access to a
variety of health related online tools, for example a BMI Calculator, Calorie
Counter and nutritional information. Free eBooks are available to download (readers
are permitted to sell and keep 100% of the profits) and there's even a chat facility
to connect with other so called 'Joosers'.
